The Board have been working over the past 12 months to reflect on the Irrigated Cropping Councils journey from it’s inception 24 years ago, the tremendous growth and development and the contributions we’ve made to innovative, locally driven research, development and extension leading to best practice irrigation for croppers and mixed farmers.

 

The decision to adopt the name Irrigation Farmers Network stems from our desire to create a stronger sense of why we do what we do! At the heart of what we do is people! We conduct research and extension to help farmers and the industry thrive and grow, which in turn contributes to thriving regional communities.

We believe that this new name better represents who we are as an organisation, capturing our focus on fostering collaboration, knowledge-sharing, driving productive farm systems and sustainable practices within the irrigation industry.

 

Accompanying our new name is a fresh and dynamic branding that visually communicates our mission and values.
